Reduce the Stigma Increase the Recovery
The term project for COMM 3342 - Visual Communication entailed choosing a relevant issue to address through a designed medium. I chose the stigma of mental illness. After taking various psychology classes, I had been exposed to literature describing the detrimental effects of stigma on stability and recovery. I decided to create an educational brochure and a poster in hopes of addressing this issue.
